About Me
Hi, I can host now, but I'm not always available and I only host people I think could be interesting.
As a longtime CS user, I think that hosting as well as surfing is not about just finding a place to crash, but sharing stories and experiences together. So yes, I pick the people I stay at, and the people who come to my home. It goes without saying that if I feel you didn't read my profile, I won't bother to answer. I know that when you're traveling, you don't always have the time to read dozens of profiles and send tons of messages, but if I can do it, then you can too. Besides, Paris is a big city, you'll find easily another place.
If you come at home, we can have a drink, cook something together, play music (not too loud though, I live in one of those old buildings where the walls are thin !). If I've got time we can go out and look around the city. I live in one of those "no-go zones" according to Fox News, so if you're looking for a safe, clean place, it's not mine, but it's not that bad and I would say it's even very interesting ! The market on Sundays is not to be missed.
If you love music, arts, literature, politics, food, then we're a match !
Right now I'm busy on journalism works and on writing a book about all the world's dumplings. I'm writing it right now, so I'm pausing on the big trips until the end of December, when I hope to go at last to Japan !
If you're curious about the book, check out my FB and Instagram !

ABOUT ME
I'm a French journalist, worked 2 years in Georgia and 3 in Russia, back in France since 2011. I specialize about food, but I'm not a critic ! I write about travelling, about food history, about society and culture.
I love music, I play (quite poorly) guitar and also love to sing. I also read a lot, books, comics, manga/manhua.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me it's a way to discover a place you don't know with the eyes and knowledge of a local, with a homely feeling. It's simply better than hotels ! When I host, or when I surf, I'm always hoping to learn something new.
I've lived without a home for many months, so I know how to live in somebody's place without creating discomfort. Also I can cook dinner.
