On a European adventure from May-June!!

ABOUT ME

I just graduated from vet school!! To celebrate my last few months before work starts, my boyfriend, Ian and I, will then be headed to Europe for an amazing 7 week backpacking, no-itinerary trip. We are hoping we can meet some fun and interesting people in various countries by using couchsurfers...and yes, I will happily take a look at your dog/cat/hamster/chicken/rat :)
So, if you live in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia or Croatia and would like to host a veterinarian and a beer expert, let us know!!!

PHILOSOPHY

My outlook and opinions on life have changed immensely over the last few months...I am feeling a pull to be more in-tune with the natural world around me and to enjoy the non-material gifts life has to offer. That being said, I still believe current technology and developments have a place in the world and I appreciate those contributions as well. However, I think a new plan in my life is coming up with a way to gently and non-invasively incorporate these modern comforts and technologies into a life centered around preserving land and resources...I hope my upcoming trip to Europe can help me develop this lifestyle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing.org and plan to be able to utilize the program while backpacking through Europe as a way to meet new people and experience life in these amazing countries!

兴趣

I love running, all kinds of exercise, cooking, wine and beer tasting. I also actually enjoy the more mundane and so-called boring parts of life, such as cleaning and chores, because order in my house gives me a sense of peace! I also love my work as a soon-to-be veterinarian- everyday is new and unexpected! I like being outdoors and active, especially with family, friends and my fun-loving boyfriend, Ian :)

I love live music...any kind, really. I enjoy reading and my boyfriend has been helping introduce me into the world of science fiction, though I usually prefer historical fiction or related topics.
