ABOUT ME

All about me. Hmmmm. Well in three words I would say I´m funny, energetic and adventurous but can three words really describe a person?
A quick biography: I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada but went to university in Montreal, Canada ..what a fantastic city! I also went on a student exchange to Denmark, where I studied, lived and worked (and learned a little Danish). I also have lived in Botswana for 3 months working at a hospice there.
Before going to university, I trained in ballet, jazz and modern dance 35 hours a week, but now I just dance for fun!
My life aspirations..well I am very committed to social medicine and in general, social justice so I want to pursue medicine but from that poin of view.
I also love meeting new people and exchanging stories and experiences... I would consider myself a pretty good story teller!
Anywho..this description is getting long so thats the short version of me..but the long version I´d love to share over a drink, a couchsurfing or hosting experience!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only surfed and attended a CS gathering, but when I return to a stable lifestyle, I will definitely host!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have surfed at 3 places and they have made me fall in love with the CS experience. The hosts have all been so kind, unique and exceptional individuals that I want to surf more and more!

Intereses

Dancing Dancing Dancing. Meeting and sharing stories with others. Learning about different cultures. Fighting for the rights of others. Learning about the world, particularly current events and world injustices. Laughing with others. Medicine, science, culture and language are all of interest to me! Taking time to let it all sink it!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I bungee jumped off the Victoria Falls in Zambia (despite my fear of heights). Crazy experience free falling 115 m!
I would highly recommend it!
