ABOUT ME

Wow….How do you describe yourself ? Well, if you translate my last name from french to english, it means ‘’ the happy’’. I try to have a positive outlook on life and learn as much as I can. I was fortunate enough to have parents that brought me around the world. I guess you can say that traveling is an instinct of mine.

I just graduated from university and really excited to explore the opportunities the world has to offer. I love to meet new people because through their unique cultures, experiences, values and beliefs, I learn a little more about this complex world we live in. I am a political science student and I am passionate about our societies, how humans interact and live together, what drives their actions and the history that binds them. So lets talk about anything and everything!! Best way to learn.

I have been living with other people for 4 years now (sometimes in houses with 6 others) so I am pretty down to earth..what goes around, comes around, I share what I can and others will do the same.

Lets just say I am eager to travel, learn LOTS and have crazy experiences I will never forget, because lets face it…life seems so boring without crazy, interesting and unforgetable memories.

I am currently in Australia on a work and holiday visa. I have only had good experiences with CS and is looking forward to more. When I settle down (wherever I am) I promise to open up my couch for fellow CS members !!

Too many but I guess in general categories: politics (I like discussion more than arguments), music (there is always a song that describes the way I feel), sports (very competitive, but I can take it easy on you), partying (who doesn't like to let loose sometimes and just dance? Not to mention a nice cold beer after a long day).

Movies that make me think. I took an Italian cinema class and loved the way it opened my eyes to cinematic techniques. I like scenes that don't have music...more realistic.

I ACTUALLY listen to every type of music. I hate to classify it in certain types. If it moves me, it's good.

I am always reading at least three books at a time ranging from philosophy and political manifestos, to fantasy (Steven King's The Gunslinger) and to non-fiction inspirational stories (just read Shantaram, one of my favorite books).

This one is tough, I am fortunate to have seen many amazing things. Climbed the Rockies, bungee jumping at the highest venu in North America, Greek Island beauty, Beaches and Volcanoes of Costa Rica, Sahara Desert, abandoned beaches of Portugal...there are just tooo many things !!!! Can’t wait to add to the list.
