About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My husband and I are enjoying growing old together. New adventures, new ideas, and loving life and each other.

ABOUT ME

Tim and I were married in 1981 and have 3 grown kids. We live in a house that Tim built on our 17 acres of rolling pasture and woods. Tim is a rural letter carrier (mail man) and I've always been a stay-at-home mom. We home educated our children throughout their school years. We are actively involved in our church through leading a small group and being involved with the worship ministry. Although we are dedicated, Bible-believing Christians, we will be respectful of anyone who chooses to share our home. We have traveled together as a family, going to the 48 contiguous states and a few Canadian provinces. Now, Tim and I especially enjoy going south during the winter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Our home is available for surfers if it fits our schedule.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted only one surfer. While I have only stayed with one host in Connecticut, our daughters have surfed in the U.S., Australia, and India.

Interests

We enjoy traveling and going off the beaten path. We both like to make things--Tim is crafty with wood and metal, I like to paint, crochet, and hope to get started with clay. We enjoy being outside and noticing the natural beauty around us. I do a lot of reading, nothing too heavy, usually, but I enjoy it. I play the keyboard and sing on a worship team at our church; I learned how to play chords just so I could play on the team and it's wonderful!
