CURRENT MISSION

I'm coming to the end of a 5 month Mexico/central American adventure, due to be back in UK by April so making the most of my time till then!

ABOUT ME

I've been living and working in Oxford as an Occupational therapy technical instructor, helping patients with brain damage make projects out of wood. I'm a trained cabinet/furniture maker and spent the last 2 years renovating my house so I'm quite handy! I've also been hosting here in Oxford when I have the time as I love to get inspired for travels from the people that stay with me!

PHILOSOPHY

A contradiction - patience is a virtue, but if an opportunity arises, catch it before it vanishes, you'll never know when you get another chance..so, pick the moment and follow you're instinct!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and been a guest before in Valencia, Spain, and I've hosted a few times in London and here in Oxford, all been positive so far!. I also surfed a few times on my big bike trip of eastern Europe, as well as here in the Uk and had great experiences.! The people I met were kind, funny and it's such an easy way to meet like-minded people from around the world.

Interests

My other interests include Art & photography, sketching, theatre, film, music (playing guitar/piano), cooking, meeting other open-minded individuals, reading, and going out. I'm learning Spanish and hopefully i will use this to aid further travels.

Traveresed the Andes / skimmed across the salt plains of Bolivia / dived in the crytal waters of Malaysia / boated down the Amazon / wondered at the remains of Angkor Wat in Cambodia / rode on camel back in the Sahara / surfed in Sumatra / clubbed in Berlin / ran with bulls in Spain / solo cycle ride from London to Brighton
