I have a passion for traveling, and for me traveling is all about learning. Learning about the history, culture and people of the places I visit.

After a travel break due to Covid, my wife and I are back at it! We recently finished up 9 amazing months touring around Asia, with the highlights being the people we met in India, and the mountains we hiked in Nepal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had amazing experiences using couchsurfing in the past, and since my wife are traveling around the globe we want to meet people from around the world as well as see the world.

There is no better way to see and travel a place than with a local.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time running, and playing sports.
I was a long distance runner for my university in Canada.

I have my open water and advanced scuba diving (Junior open water done in Honduras when I was 10 and redone in Thailand. Advanced done in Egypt)!

I also love traveling (obviously), and trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accomplishments I am proud of is running a half marathon in under 1:20, planting over 300,000 trees by hand in Northern Canada, and quitting my job in order to travel with my wife for a year (currently doing this)!!
