To learn how to be present and pay attention, to get in touch with my body, to face my fears, to stop rehearsing life and live it.

ABOUT ME

I am committed to living my life with love, passion, and fearlessness. I like to think that I'm contributing to the movement for social justice and helping to create a world where marginalized people can have a voice and are respected for the perspective they bring to the table. I'm fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to do that. But I also like to think that I'm having fun and taking risks when life calls for it. Embracing reckless abandon within reason. Whether this means quitting graduate school to work in Denali National Park for a summer, hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon by myself, or embarking on my very first backpacking trip... On snowshoes.

At this point, I'm mostly interested in meeting people for cultural exchange and connection.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a couple couches in Seattle and Arizona, attended a couchsurfing gathering in Seattle, and gone on a couple of day trips with couch surfers in Arizona.

Spent a summer working in Denali National Park, flew around the peak of Mt. McKinley in a small plane, hiked on a glacier, heard the flap of a bald eagle's wings, been spied on by a sea otter, played peek-a-boo with whales, hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon....
