ABOUT ME

I am a twenty three year old English grad that is about to embark on a journey to Seoul, South Korea at the beginning of 2009. Currently I am looking into the Korean culture and way of life, but it is mysterious at this point; very intriguing however. I want to dive headfirst into this experience, grow as a human being, and hopefully develop a brand new sense of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a Nietzschein philosophy on life. No I'm kidding, I just want to get out there and explore as much of the world as possible. I think that life is just too short to sit around and wait for opportunity to arise. I am not quite sure what I want to do in the long run, but I am going to try to put myself in places with plenty of options.

I love Dave Eggers, Denis Johnson, Yann Martel, Junot Diaz, and Ernest Hemingway. My favorite movie at the moment (and the last couple moments) is City of God. I love The Doors, Radiohead, MSTRKRFT, and Of Montreal (among thousands of others).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was asked to be the godfather to a young boy in Kingston, Jamaica (I said yes).
