About Me
I love life.
In my free time I study cultures, so don't be surprised when I want you to share your culture with me. And if there is anything that you want to know about another culture, I just might know something about it.
Along with being an adventure seeking hitch-hiking with a party appearance, I am very modest and I take safety seriously. I'm not a captain buzz kill, I'll enjoy life right alongside of you, but I'm tired of hosts who think that I'm planning to sleep with them or that I must want to do other romantic things that I just don't want to do. Please be clear about anything that might seem unsafe. Then we can make a good decisions before I get there. I respect your right to live life exactly as you please. Please respect my right not to join in with anything I don't want to do.
Ok. That's settled. Moving on....
I love walks to see the city or countryside and if I'm hosting you I'll love to show you around. If you stay with me, I have a policy. If you're hungry, eat. If you're thirsty, drink. If you want my clothes and stuff.... sorry that's mine. If you have questions, ask.
I love to share with people and I know how hard it can be to travel sometimes and not know how to procure food or run out of soap. If I'm hosting you, I'm here to help you. Don't take advantage of it. Just be a wonderful human being. When someone else needs help, please help them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, I want international friends. I'm looking for friends around the world and international connections. Perhaps, I host you and later while I'm visiting your country I'll have a couch, help, or even just an emergency contact. Perhaps you'll host me and later when you need something, I'll be there. On top of that, I want cultural understanding. I have learned more than I can tell you about various cultures through couch surfing. As a life long international traveler, these things are so valuable.
Interests
I spend my time talking to people and seeing the beauty in the world. I can see beauty almost everywhere. Philosophy and world religions interest me. I firmly believe that everyone should have a quality education. I like to dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It always comes back to the charity that my mom runs to feed the homeless. I've volunteered with that as much as I could for my entire life. They used to feed adults, now they feed kids who don't have access to food other than the food that they get at school. So on the weekends and summer.... my mom's charity, Hunger Intervention Program, is there.
Teach, Learn, Share
Actually, the most valuable things that I've learned through couch surfing were unintentional. Yes, we could both teach and learn cooking, languages, cultures, chores, etc. but that isn't nearly as important as learning how to function in someone else's world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We've covered the basics of what I share with surfers. With hosts, I've mostly got culture to share, good conversation, a lot of laughs, and a really really really good time. That's what most of us are on this site for anyways.
For my next trip, my friend is coming with me. He's from Germany. We can cook with you and/or learn about life right alongside of you. I'm getting him into hosting before we leave so that he knows how to be a great surfer. Life is good to us.
