Bringing the road to me since Im trying to be legit while going to school.

ABOUT ME

I left my home town Winona MN on june 1st 08 to begin my epic hitching walk about across the United States. From Atlantic to Pacific..."gee the traffic was terrific".
I was just hitching through the Bay on my way up to Seattle but ended up meeting random distant relatives and decided to stay. Im going to go back to school in Aug to start my teaching degree, so I need to focus and save up, which means I cant quit my job n head off into the wild blue yonder...the economy is crap right now so if I lost this job, that plan would be screwed.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So since I cant go on any adventures for awhile, I want to bring the road to me.
My roommate Alex and I welcome any wayward travelers,and fellow Dharma bums looking for a safe place to crash while in the Bay Area.

We have access to a van,motorcycle and truck and we are close to the bus stop.

I want to meet other hosts and learn more about this amazing community of fellow travelers. Hit me up if you want to get some coffee or come over for a pot of tea. I love to meet people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never really used couch surfing. When hitching I was lucky to have enough contacts across the country to stay at when needed. But Im happy to be able to pass on the good karma that many random strangers showed towards me.
