I'm a generalist and a creative person. I write songs and sing, and I paint. My peak experiences often involve drinking a coffee and talking about whatever jumps to mind with someone and getting silly. I'm interested in yoga even though I'm inflexible and wear sweatpants, and meditation even though I do it a lot in spurts and then don't do it for a while. I like to go see music that really inspires me, or to go hiking and see the outdoors.

I like meeting new people and it inspires me to exchange ideas and hear about what's going on for someone. I'm also more toward being introverted and really enjoy spending time wandering around on my own and absorbing my surroundings. I'm that person sitting in the coffee shop with a sketchbook. Sometimes I meet people, and sometimes I spend the time alone, and either way I'm pleased with the experience. A lot of people here are probably into going with the flow and that's how I like to operate. It's often the way that the best things happen, but you never know when.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been meaning to travel to the south of Spain for quite some time to catch a flamenco show and see the architecture! So I came on here for this trip, after not using this site for a long time.

In general I like meeting travellers, both when I'm the person travelling or when someone is new to my area and I get to be excited through eyes again about what my city has to offer.

Interests

Creative interests are at the forefront: I do lotsa drawing, painting, singing, guitar playing, song and lyric writing, poetry and train of thought writing, among other genres such as random acts of performance art.

Other interests include traveling, random adventures through cities and forests, meditation, activism, spending time with good folks, watching the day float by.
