ABOUT ME

Christine (Asian girl) and Arjun (Americanized-Indian boy) are both sarcastic nerds. They can't stand each others' company but are stuck with each other as traveling buddies because their friends are lame and are off doing "important" things like making money and going to grad school. They met Freshman year at Rutgers and hated each other at first sight.

They're still trying to convince someone to come join in their whacky adventures around Australia and New Zealand.

Update: Zach and Casey will now be joining them on their Lord of the Rings adventure in New Zealand! The boys will be doing a quick 1-2 week tour of Australia and Christine will stay behind for 4 weeks to volunteer at a Koala Hospital<3 Her life dream will be fulfilled.

Christine heard about this from her sister, who has couch surfed her way through China and India. But she hasn't ever had the chance to really travel until now so now she wants to do it right. :) She's dragging Arjun, Zach and Casey along for the ride.

Interests

Christine is obsessed with koalas, food, baking, tea<3, brains, and her adorable dog Sophie. She likes to take pretty pictures with her shiny SLR named McClaren. She absolutely detests bananas. That's important.

Arjun is a mechE student who likes video games, cool movies, playing tennis, the environment, toys (but especially Nerf guns), and watching TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Christine: Bioluminescent bay was freaking fantastic with the glowing dinoflagellates. Land bridge in Cabo Rojo was beyond beautiful. [Both in Puerto Rico]

Arjun: Backpacking through Europe. Setting off a jet engine in lab and not dying.

Teach, Learn, Share

Christine can...
- play piano
- bake and decorate cupcakes so they look like cute animals (alligators, walruses and polar bears, oh my!)
- cook nomnoms (on a good day)
- make a mean cup of tea (and by mean, she means delicious.)
- speak Mandarin (kind of, and with a Taiwanese-American accent)
