ABOUT ME

Team Jeck was founded in 2001 in Melbourne, Australia. Since then the team has experienced some unforgettable moments and is going from strength to strength.

We relocated to London in the end of 2008 to experience a different lifestyle and see as much of Europe as possible. Nearly 3 years on and we are about to embark on a road trip around most of western/central Europe.

We are about equality, understanding and compassion for all. We have a keen interest in learning about the truths of this mad world! Some of our interests include hiking in the forest, dancing till the sun rises (not so much now we are getting older), experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.

Beck is a strict Vegan so is more inclined to meet people who are not judgemental because of this.

We love all animals and have a passion for conservation. So if you have a dog we would be happy to walk it for you. Also cats are no problem - we left our Boo with family back in Melbourne :(

We enjoy conversations with other open minded individuals.

We have one CS policy - we do not take the bed of the host! EVER.. we have recently had hosts offer their beds and although we are extremely grateful it is just something that we cannot impose on anyone :)

Treat all beings and the amazing world in which we live with respect. Believe in yourself, you may not be able to change the whole world but you can change the world in which you live. Tread lightly, have a more positive impact. One world, one chance.

We always show respect to our hosts and love finding out about different people who co-exist in this mad world. Beck is also up for cooking you a delicious vegan meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a few cities across Europe meeting interesting people that constantly broaden our horizons.

Interests

The Great Outdoors - the smell of fresh country air.
Animals (rights), nature and conservation.
Meeting new people and exchanging life experiences.
Finding a vegan gem, whether it be a hidden restaurant or cafe - especially cup cakes!
Gym, exercising and taking care of your body. We enjoy snowboarding and skiing respectively.
Love taking photos and learning about photography

Jeff has a love for films and documentaries. We have a broad taste in music ranging from trance, many things electronic (dubstep, breaks, hardstyle, electro/house) to hip hop/rap and rock. He likes watching mixed martial arts (UFC).

We are also into street-dance, breakdancing shows enjoy seeing street art, graffiti and witnessing beatboxing or turntablism. We go to dance & music festivals and clubbin if there is a international DJ or act to see.

We are forever learning, sharing and teaching each other :)

Bek can cook you a tasty vegan dinner or dessert. She has a keen interest (and has done a lot of research) in nutrition, foods and holistic therapies and is always happy to chat about these topics.

Jeff is happy to help with any computer problems.
