ABOUT ME

Hello :)
We are a couple from Switzerland, driving around the world in a Fiat Panda.
We participated in the Mongol Rally (Zurich - Ulaanbataar) 2012.
We drove once around the world in 2014.
We did the Panda Raid in Morocco 2016.
In between we do some smaller travels in Europe.
After that, we drove from Zürich to Capetown in 2017.

Our best couchsurfing expierience on this trip was in Baku, Aserbaidjan. Thanks Arif, you were a great host!

Interests

We like travelling and meet people all over the world. Our philosophy is:
-travel cheap (not only because we don't have too much moneys, but also because we think you got the expieriences when you camp, self-cater, couchsurf, fix your cars by yourselves,.... Okay, honestly if we HAD too much money, we would only stay in five star hotels and drink cocktails at the pool ;))
-travel individually (stay with the locals if possible)
-travel open minded (be open for all different cultures, religions, traditions, foods, and whatever comes along you way)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We rode on a Yak in the Pamir Mountains!
We climed the shipwreckes in the Aral sea!
We took the cargo ferry over the Caspian Sea!
We drove all the transibirian Highway!
We saw the man burn in Black Rock Desert!
We petted a crocodile!
We drove trough the kalahari and the okawanga delta!

Teach, Learn, Share

We...:
-have been camping for 10 months, we have awesome outdoor skills like firemaking, sleeping in dirty places and drinking our own urine (naaa, just kidding ;)
-are absolute professionals in fixing cars with ducktape, zipties or random pieces of metal we found on the roadside
-are great storytellers. almost all of our adventures are true!
-never say no to a beer
