About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show Bristol to the world
ABOUT ME
We both graduated from university in 2006 and in September went on a very long jolly around the world untill December 2008 when we returned to Bristol, thinner, wiser, browner, more determined, and with some great stories.
Kat is a teacher and I am a professional sound engineer. We got married during our studies, then sold almost everything we had to go travelling.
We travelled for eight months and stopped in New Zealand for one year to work. Then travlled for another eight months before returning to the UK.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others as you would expect to be treated, with Respect!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We really want to give back to CS what it gave us while we were on the road.
The people who hosted us gave us a great insight into their community and lives and now we want to give something back to a surfer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First experience: Staying with a wonderful family in French Polynesia for a couple of weeks, beach life!
Second: A great guy in Fiji for a week, then a second week and another meet up in KL for some awesome food.
Third: Someone in Laos.
Fourth: A fantastic couple in India who took us to a memorable hippy commune.

Teach, Learn, Share
We can take you on the most amazing tour of Bristol, a real insiders look at the history of the city, once bigger than London, and its role in shapping the slave trade and then abolishing it.
Famous for some dark secrets then and today now famous for some more eclectic aspects of life including hot air balloons and animation.
If you come to Bristol get in touch and we will be your free tour guide.
