ABOUT ME

We're a fun loving couple who've been going out 5 years - when Jen finished university we decided to come travelling before we had to buy a house and settle down.

We have been travelling 2 years and have covered Hong Kong (3days), Thailand (6 weeks), Vietnam (8days), New Zealand (10months) – we lived in Auckland with some friends and then lived in Queenstown for the ski season – stunning place! We then went to Fiji for 3 weeks and flew to Sydney on 14th December just in time for Christmas and New Year! We’ve worked our way up the East Coast to Cape Tribulation, lived & worked in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast for 3 months. Flew to Darwin and hired a camper from there down the West Coast to Perth. Lived &worked in Perth for 3 months then flew to Alice Springs where Matt popped the question.

Matthew is a qualified joiner of 8 years and is very handy with pretty much everything! Jennie has a degree in Hospitality Business Management with Conference and Events and is deciding what to do with her degree whilst travelling.

We've stayed at a lovely couples house and really enjoyed it - love to meet fellow travelers and share funny experiences and exciting new places!

Interests

Yoga, running, walking, sun bathing, reading, aromatherapy and wine tasting! (Jen)

Rugby league, going to the gym, motorbikes, surfing, fishing (Matt)

We both enjoy exploring places, going off the tourist trail and finding waterfalls, blowholes, seal pups playing and blue penguins coming ashore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taupo Tandem Bungy Jump! It's the highest (47m) water touch bungy in New Zealand.

We sky dived over the Great Barrier Reef in Mission Beach - Very scary going up in the plane but jumping out and freefalling is the best experience ever!

Other amazing things are; Hiking fox glacier, Flying a plane in Wanaka, Milford Sound, Diving the Great Barrier Reef, White Water Rafting at Tully!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach; We've just passed our scuba diving certification in Thailand so if anyone has any questions about how you go about doing it, what it involves we can try and help - we have a great contact in Phuket!

Learn;We would like to learn more about constellations and photography.
