About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bring mad snacks to the masses

ABOUT ME

I like good conversation and better books, delicious craft beer, and being outside all the damn time.

PHILOSOPHY

"What is your personal philosophy? Why do you live your life? Feelings? Thoughts?" ....Couch surfing just got deep! Lets kick it and we can chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate used to host when I lived in Canada, and I'm looking to share the love of this beautiful place I live (as well as possibly surf during my future adventures!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

LOVED the people I met who stayed at our home in Vancouver, getting to share all the things I love about the places I live with people who truly appreciate it. It's also like traveling without leaving your home, the more people I meet, the greater my capacity for understanding the people I share this planet with.

Interests

Books, music, plants, my dog, nature, 14,000 ft mountains, music, snow, splitboarding, unplugging, rock climbing, surfing, sunshine, beer, social and economic development, live music, travel (duh), people helping people. And more recently, mountain biking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Vonnegut, Robbins, Huxley, Woodward, Dumb and Dumber, Tool, Rage Against, The Roots, Hendrix, Xavier Rudd, Tribe, Ratatat, Cut Copy, Wilco, and everything in between

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I see incredibly resilience and independence in the high risk kids I work with every day. They inspire me and remind me why life is worth living, reinforce my belief in the importance of people helping people, and that is the most amazing thing.

Oh, and the Tetons. They're rage.

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing, stoked even, to share my passion for board sports and other outdoor activities. Love cooking with and for people, sharing my friends and exchanging ideas about the ways of the world. I invite any and all to come practice Spanish with me or debate economic theory because I'm a nerd.
