About Me

CURRENT MISSION

looking for an accomandation

ABOUT ME

I just graduated from Heidelberg University and came back in China. So if those who would like to live in Heidelberg please do not count on me any more. I am in Beijing now. Since I am new here, currently it is impossible for me to offer any accomandation. I am looking for a room for myself as well. Maybe later. I am very glad to offer, but it is a difficult time for me now. Sorry!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let others live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My best friend in Germany, a German guy, recommended me this website. He is one year younger than me, but he shows me here and there, like German poem competition, or private concert, and other stuff which are special in Germany or in Europe. I do like the casual way of living and traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Heidelberg I have offered my mattress to other scholarship holders who come to Germany along with me. When they visit me from other cities, it is very nice to stay here one day or two. It is wonderful to meet old friends and talk. Then a very nice girl in Wiesbaden offered me couch for almost one week when I attended a conference there. I really felt the warmth and joy from that experience, so I offered my place to a Taiwanese several months later. We are good friends now.

Interests

Movies, TV-series, reading, traveling (depend on the finacial status sometimes), Sport (it is fancy to do it at home with YouTube when the weather is not so nice)

The catcher in the rye;

I'm so glad you are here

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done so far is to leave the well-paid job and come to Germany to further my study. During this period, I really let myself in a free enviorment to think and to make new friends. It is kinda "start over" in a certain degree.

Teach, Learn, Share

Today I realizd that I will probably learn foreign languages for the rest of my life. One reason is just for work and life, the other more important reason is my curiosity to other cultures. Currently I want to improve my German to the fluent level. Afterwards I would love to learn Korean (the food is so yummy!), Japanese and French. And maybe other languages which I have no heard about that much so far.
