I am a friendly 30 year old guy who is moving to Austin to experience a new city, plus I've heard great things about Austin. Being a Denver native, I feel it is time to explore a new city. I taught in Asia from late-2011 to March 2015 and in that time I got to teach in Vietnam, Thailand, and China. Now I am back in the States looking to get a good stable job. I am a respectful, level-headed person who is also an unobtrusive guest, so I would be a good friend and also a good guest.

I'm on here to meet people in Austin and firmly believe you've can never have too many friends. I am new in town in Austin, so meeting locals and making new friends would be awesome. Also, I was hoping to learn more about the city and the great things there are to do.

I enjoy live music, comedy shows, nightlife, sports, and outdoorsy things. I also have an interest in entertainment, so I'd like to get involved in the near future with comedy acting and stand-up as a way to get out of the house and also to meet others.

If you let me stay at your place I can chat with you about anything (I like to talk), or if you aren't talkative, I'll keep quiet. In addition, I can give advice on traveling in SE Asia and China, since I used to live there. Also, I can clean the dishes or vacuum the room; Whatever basic housework needs to be done so I earn my keep and don't come off as being a "free-loader."

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with general housework and if people need help cooking, I can try. However, I don't cook much, so I doubt the food would be like something out of a classy restaurant. I can also share my gregarious personality with hosts and do my best to cheer them up and be generally friendly.
