ABOUT ME

We live on a farm between the Tasman Sea and the Southern Alps. I juggle working as well farming, parenting and living.

The we is my partner Ted who is a ranger with the Department of Conservation, and my two daughters aged 18 and 14.

There is an assortment of animals; cats, dogs, horses, chooks, the pig , sheep and cattle that share our world.

We have hosted and been hosted both is great. There are times our internet is out or we are unable to host -life is busy. Please don't be offended if I don't reply!

Hosting here at home is a privilege as it brings the world to us. We love hearing each persons story and each is unique and special

We are a flexible and busy family.We are outdoors based and enjoy the environment we live in. The girls are involved in farming, sports and friends. My youngest is at school, middle girl is at Uni and the older two left home

Gone on a family trip into the Southern Alps in our back yard and watched the sunset from up high.

We can offer a small insight into life here on the coast. We can give you an experience in the native bush, a kayak in the wetland out the back or even just a walk on the beach at sunset (if the weather is playing the game!). Most of all, we can welcome you into our family for the duration of your stay.
