ABOUT ME

Compulsive journal-keeper, maker of ephemeral art, voracious reader, possessor of far too many vices, forever in search of sincerity and compassion, occasionally funny, usually smiling.

I like to drink a bit too much and talk about things that are important to me.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still trying to develop my personal philosophy, or ethical paradigm, or set of maxims, or whatever you want to call it. Is it ever completed? Or do we add and take away bits of ourselves with every new experience? I hope we do. I hope I do.

Right now, I try my hardest to be a kind person, spend as much time with people I love as possible, read everything I can get my hands on, and endeavor to greet every situation with empathy.

兴趣

Books, sewing, cooking, trying to coax the hutong cats into letting me pet them, watching terrible movies, listening to people talk about everything, exploring new places, listening to Patti Smith way too loud (ditto the Mountain Goats), making small stop-motion animations.
