I am from Australia and came out on a working holiday visa to Canada and took 12 months off from my job. I am wanting to see as much of the world as I can. I'm a solo traveller and it's sometimes lonely going around everywhere by myself so I thought couchsurfing would be a great way to meet some people. I love talking and sometimes I feel shy to approach a random person on the street but it's so frustrating not having a conversation all day sometimes! I don't want to disappoint people but apparently my accent is not 'Australian' enough. I only just found out about couchsurfing from a travel group and I wish I knew about it sooner because my place in Australia was perfect for hosting people. If I move back I hope some people will love to come and stay with me!
