Minimum stay 2 nights if you are a single traveller, one night more for each additional person. Longerstayers preferred (yes, I really mean it).

Slow travelling makes more sense, as the first day is away with getting oriented and getting accomodated and the last day is busy with packing. And then talking with the host and finding a supermarket and maybe too long sleeping because of bar hopping or jet lag or just lazyness.... All that shows that travelling needs time. And I´m a slow traveller (hence a longer-stayer) myself. I´ve developed a couple of friendships through Couchsurfing, with occasionally mutual visits.
