ABOUT ME

I am 32 years old and love to meet new people. I have always loved to travel and explore new cultures. After three month as a IAESTE trainee in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, I found out that I love to visit countries with a total different cultures than Norway. As a member in IAESTE I get the possibility to go to other beautiful cities and feel the culture.

I try to travel as much as possible. For the moment, I am working as a IT consultant in Bergen. In my spare time and vacation I like to take my motorcycle out for a spin. The summer of 2020, was a vacation in Norway so I spend four weeks riding around the south part of Norway (south of Trondheim) and explored a lot. It ended up being 5000 kilometers. I have seen a lot of nice places in Norway and are willing to give some recommandations if that is wanted.

PHILOSOPHY

Look at people as individuals and not as a group. Then generally trust people until they show that they cant be trusted.

When my couch is available I will host anyone that need a place in Bergen. I also will participate with teach others in the Norwegian culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really like the concept of CS, but I am new here so I have not been on CS yet. I look forward to try all the different parts of CS, surfing, hosting and just meet for a cofee.

Teach, Learn, Share

Bergen is located at the west coast of Norway. It's surounded by 7 mountains, that is a nice place for hiking. Just 30-60 minutes walk from the city center, you are at some beautiful view points.

It's the largest city in Norway after the capital, Oslo. "Bryggen" in Bergen is at UNESCOs list.
