ABOUT ME

I really am looking for some off beat paths where in I can soak the liveliness and the thrill without any deadlines looming over me
I have my juices flowing on the nomadic thinking and is an avid adventure sports lover. I am very fond of music and aim to create an anthology of the greatest tripping songs. Every now and then I like to let my hair down in a club and go all out! ;)

I am also a voracious reader, write occasionally and an internet addict, if something like that exists. Just to give a disclaimer, I use it more positively ^_^

I have a lot of tales to share about interesting experiences which have occurred due to my more than normal curiosity! :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can show you around the city and explore Mumbai along with you as I moved in very recently here. I could host you, offer bed, food and alcohol, and amplify your adrenaline and dopamine if you are up for it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best friends is a crazy couchsurfer and has hosted almost all the people who have visited town till now! So through him, I got to meet and know quite a lot of people. I have met new people in other cities and had some amazing experiences along the way! I have been to meets too, but never hosted. I am out of college and have my own place, so am curious to soak in the experience.

Interests

Cooking, traveling, reading, philosophy, psychology, tech, science, art, books, music etc. To summarize I am interested in anything under the sun as long as it/him/her don't bite me! (Sometimes that is fine too! :D)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love and adore movies. I have watched more than 10,000 movies from a lot of different languages and documentaries(Waiting for Racing Extinction!) too. I think of visual medium as the best source of mass communication.

I listen to all kinds of music. I have gained some interest in music production and started exploring it. My likes in Music include Daft Punk, Breakbot, MgMt, Flume, Nicolas Jaar, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Grammatik, The Black Keys, Van Morrison, Stevie Wilson, Flume, The White Stripes, The Foals, etc. You name it, I will hear it!

I was once what you could call a TV series fanatic! I have completed all seasons of almost every high rated series in terms of critics or viewers point of view. I still am partly of what I was before :P

I read anything and everything. Right now I am reading more of non-fiction which would help me in understanding the product I am building and to give diverse perspectives on how the universe works

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sun rise at Mount Everest(Yes! You read that right!) is one sight which will be lingering in front of my eyes throughout my life. The snow sparkled as if it was gold!

Secondly teaching about 17 underprivileged kids continuously for about 6 hours without a break and the kids too reciprocating well without even yawning!

I have been part of an amazing team and hosted a music festival. Top artists from India and outside have performed and been part of this :) We have created a world record too with sticky notes as our canvas( Will elaborate when we meet ^_^)

I like exploring adventure sports and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I have partied with friends all night, pulled all nighter sharing experiences, gaming all night, solo traveling and passed out in the middle of nowhere once only to be discovered soon enough ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an amateur cook trying out things when possible. An avid reader of philosophy and psychology.

So relating learning and teaching science stuff too is my forte! I could teach a few games, some computer related hacks, DIY things and lot of conversations which ranging from geek to crazy!
