Overview
About Me
My ethnic background is Pakistani and Indian but I was raised in the Middle East (Kuwait and the UAE) before moving to Canada for my higher education. Of course, I loved it here and decided to move her permanently. I'm not a Canadian Citizen, live and work in magnificent Toronto, ON with my partner and cat. Food plays a huge and central role in my life, whether the consumption of it, the preparation of it, or simply the dreaming of it. I love to share my knowledge and interests with people and some of my best memories involve being around a dinner table with folks (whether old friends or new) and having deep and meaningful conversations about love, life, travel and a myriad of topics.
Travel is something I have been blessed to be able to do all my life since Middle Eastern summers encourage leaving the region for a couple weeks every year. Now, in Canada, things get a little harder with work and budgets. My last vacation was in November 2014 when I went to Thailand for a friend's wedding. It was my 3rd trip to the country and it never fails to leave me wanting more. Hit me up if you want to hear any travel stories or would like tips.
PHILOSOPHY
"do not onto others what you would not what others do onto you."
"if everyone in the choir sang the same note, we'd have no harmony." i celebrate diversity
