I am content with my life and always busy with projects and activities. I do a lot of local land preservation work, serve as a migratory bird educator, work with students training to be science teachers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New as of Feb 2010. Looking forward to hosting and traveling.

I have a fond memory of drinking warm goat milk with an old woman near Mostar, Yugoslavia (before it fell apart) We communicated with smiles and gestures, she giving me the kindness of what little she had.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a bird banding educator I get to hold small (the mass of 3-4 peanut M&M's) birds on their semi annual migration from the tropic to the arctic. I use it to enlighten all ages of students on the importance of habitat protection.

I have been a bee keeper since high school. Nature fascinates me.
