I'm an artsy guy who loves to discover the world, to get to know people and to learn new things. I am married to another Canadian guy who lives in Berlin. I've completed my bachelor in architecture at Université Laval in Québec City, Canada. I am now doing my Master's at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. I like creating, thinking, finding the true meaning of things. I'm eager to learn and share with others our life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a young guy in my twenties I visited France, Belgium and a bit of the Middle East while staying at Couchsurfers' places. I love this way of traveling, it makes the experience much richer and authentic :)

I eventually could host in my flat up to 3 persons. I simply have to get the approval of my two roommates before hand. I would love to give back, as I have been hosted many times before!

Interests

I like everything that is Art. I especially appreciate old objects and places. It's fun to see how people used to live and how it changed today! I am always willing to explore the beautiful nature we have around us and philosophize about life. I enjoy naturism and skinny-dipping in lakes, rivers or the ocean, it's helped me a lot with body acceptance and self-confidence. Highly recommend!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can take you around Weimar, Erfurt and Jena. Lots of things to do in the region! I like going to the Deutsches National Theater (only 10 euros for students!), and if you want to learn more about Bauhaus, I can certainly take you on a tour of the uni.
