Overview
About Me
My name is Timote Suladze. If you are not Russian/Georgian speaking person, you may call me just Tim.
I was born in Tbilisi and raised in Minsk. I am originally Georgian, but I am completely Russian native speaker. I had studied Georgian twice a week at a Russian school before my family left Tbilisi in 1988.
Although I registered in 2010, I am new on this site. Actually I am planning two trips. One trip—in Georgia (this is an ex Soviet Republic which is situated in Caucasus and not a state of the USA). Another trip—in the USA, from New York to Chicago. I have a huge traveling experience, but I always stayed in hotels or was hosted by friends and/or relatives. I have never been hosted by couchsurfers and now I'd like to try this experience as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(1) In 2014 I worked as Italian/Russian simultaneous interpreter at the Olympic Games in Sochi.
(2) One day I have translated 5,000 words from Italian into Russian in 13 hours.
(3) In 2004 I traveled from Vladivostok, Russia to Minsk, Belarus by train — almost 10,000 km (more than 6,200 miles) in about 10 days. I changed three trains that time.
(4) I have had 14 flights since January 1st, 2015!
(5) My longest flight is from Moscow, Russia to New York.
(6) In 2011 I traveled alone by car from Moscow, Russia to Tbilisi, Georgia then from Tbilisi to Minsk, Belarus, and finally from Minsk to Moscow. In about three weeks I drove almost 6,000 km (more than 3,700 miles). All alone.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can meet you in airport and/or railway station, walk with you in Moscow, discover to you a very good Georgian cuisine in a restaurant, cook a handmade lasagna or pasta in my home. Unfortunately I can't offer you a bed, because we — me and my wife — have only one-room apartment (not "one-bedroom", but exactly "one-room"), nevertheless I hope we spend a very good time toghether.
