About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel as much as I possibly can, meet as many different kinds of people as I can, and then go abroad. I want to check out couchsurfing as a local thing first (within the U.S) and if it works out, I'm going to take it abroad.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student in College right now, although I'm constantly debating with myself about whether or not I made the right decision being here. I can't be buckled down in one place, with one set of rules and regulations for too long, otherwise, I begin to crack and break, and I get depressed. I have to have something to look forward to, maybe a way of making things more interesting for me. I'm loud and I don't give a fuck, but I'm loyal and caring, and I'm extremely spiritual and connected to the otherworldy. I love life, I guess thats the most important thing to know, and I'm in love with the idea of being in love.

PHILOSOPHY

Simplicity is the shit, I love life and living it. I find that I enjoy random things, like sitting in a car and staring at the lights of a city. I like road trips to places I've never been before and talking to random people. I like spontaneity and getting fucked up on a regular basis. I am devoted to my friends and loyalty is not something that I take lightly. There's a feeling that accompanies a real friendship, its one where we end up on the river walk singing at the top of our lungs and later that night end up in the hotel room of a man who makes pornography for a living completely wasted off our asses.. It's going to Renaissance Faire and getting fucked up and sitting around a fire circle with a bunch of random dancing women and men breathing and spinning fire while we play drums in a large group. Man, my life is something I'm gonna look back on when I'm fuckin’ 80 and I'm gonna say, hey grandkids, this is what I did when I was a kid, and I hope you do just as much and even more. I am going to live my life, I'm going to do crazy shit, and I'm gonna love it. Maybe you'll get to experience a bit of that with me. :) So get to know me, you never know what our night will hold and where we'll end up..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to start by offering my own couch up to someone, and when I move back to San Antonio, I would love to go and visit locals there. I may take a drive to Austin, Dallas, or Houston, and couch surf with someone in those cities, to break in the habbit a bit more thant the couple of experiences I've had.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed places with people I've met off the internet, but I did know them to some degree or another. It was alot of fun, and oh so different to be thrust into an environment where I was forced to be social. I didnt have anyone to run to, I was on my own...and it was an amazing week. It was in Corpus Christi and it was with 100 other people for a convention of sorts.

Interests

I love culture. I love things like goign to Renaissance Festivals, or a Folk Festival and just living there for a weekend of my life. I love music, many many kinds of music, and I'm also very much into spirituality and otherwordly things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to go to New York City last summer. I've always wanted to go, and I had not the resources nor the money to do so. So I took 100 dollars, and I packed up my shit, and I drove to NYC with a longtime friend of mine. We went through something like 9 states, passed Loretta Lynn on the way there, and when we got there, we got lost and were amazed and astounded a ridiculous amount of times. New York, for someone who has never been there, and holds the city in a sort of lime-light is an amazing thing. Watching it on television is one thing, but being there and seeing its interaction, its brilliance is another. I went to brooklyn, central park, manhatten... I went to Serendipity while I was there, hundreds of hole in the wall shops, I did street vending, I sat in complete awe in the largest north american gothic cathedral for an hour...just listening and being. I want to go back, I can't wait to go back.
