COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Experiences with CS were great! I have met wonderful people who helped me on trips.

I can tell a funny experience was when I met Claudia, a Canadian girl.

I went to Florianopolis because I wanted to stay there a few weeks, perhaps months working. Wander around the beaches and the city three days sleeping in anywhere and meeting people in the streets. Until I found out by CS that Claudia, a girl from Canada, sought for a partner to her home in Fortaleza da barra. Walking with my backpack, I decided to stop to rest in Praia Mole, it was a hot day with bright sunshine . I had a cell phone from Brazil but I cound't communicate with one from Floripa, so I saw in the stall on the beach a girl who was selling Sucos, Beer and other things. I approached her to ask how I could communicate with a cell phone from Floripa, she responded with her American or Canadian accent...
and then I thought, there are not many Canadians working in Floripa at this time, so I asked her name and she replied "Claudia"... I could not believe the situation. How many people live in a giant city like Florianopolis? I said: It's you that I want to call!! It was funny, but the worst is that Claudia said afterward that if he was not personally never really going to achieve contact with her because phone conversations in Portuguese with an Argentinian who does not know English, it was really a difficult thing. Is the destiny that teaches you that the destination exists.

Interests
