About Me
Hello! I am Da (Curtis) Teng from Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia with academic interests in Finance and Statistics. In the past 18 years of my life, I lived in Beijing, China. I am an avid traveler and aerial photographer who want to travel to each and every country on the planet in the remainder of my life. As a Chinese living in the US, I've gained a better understanding of multiculturalism and globalism and would categorize myself as an open-minded person willing to absorb and appreciate other cultures. Looking forward to meeting interesting people from across the globe!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe there is no better way to touch the culture of a country other than being able to stay with a local, talk to a local, and live like a local. Couchsurfing is an amazing platform which connects non-ordinary travelers with hospitable locals. I'd like to make friends from all over the world, learn their way of living and their values, and eventually appreciate and respect the differences and dynamics of cultural imprint from each and every place I have visited/will be visiting.
