Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've stayed with a few official couchsurfing hosts and I've also slept on many couches. I have hosted a few couchsurfers and even gone on a roadtrip with one. I really enjoy meeting new folks, though, at this point, I'd rather host travelers who have their own independent plans and are simply looking for a place to stay during their visit. However, right now I have a lot of roomates, and I'm not in a great position to host. When my housing situation changes, I hope to begin hosting again.
