CURRENT MISSION

Become a successful I/O Psychologist after completely undergraduate and graduate school. But at the same time, experience as much as possible before I have to concentrate on work and family.

ABOUT ME

I am 100% Chinese (I think) and can speak mandarin and decent cantonese (although I have been told i have a crappy accent). I am 5'8 and have black hair, glasses, light brown eyes, etc. I am currently attending college at university of california - san diego as a psychology major hoping to go to business graduate school to become an industrial/organizational psychologist. I like to talk and more importantly, like to listen, that's probably why i have ears that stick out.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people the way I want to be treated. And Optimism is what I always strive for. Unfortunately not all people in the world can be optimistic so I justify that with this quote...I forgot who it was by though. "The optimist invented the airplane. The pessimist, the parachute"

Also, I want to grow up, become successful to repay my mother for her devotion to me and my younger sister. Also to spoil my future wife and kids. But as a psychology major, I want them to be well behaved at the same time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to host my apartment at college and depending of my mother lets, I can even host with my mother's house in Los Angeles. I'm excited to meet new people and hope the people I meet will feel the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to visit a friend in Europe during winterbreak 2008 and she told me we were going to stay at random people's houses. First I was skeptical, but then she assured me that it was through this site and the people we're staying with have credibility. After staying with he first host, I realized how exciting this was and wanted to join this community immediately!

Interests

Recently started traveling and did not have to pay much for housing thanks to couchsurfing, so I'm definitely planning to travel more thanks to this. I am a bit of a geek because I love video games such as MMOs, First Person Shooters, and Fighting Games. But I also love to explore and try new things. I workout by swimming, and planning to pickup breakdancing and Popping for hobbies.

I love music, only music can bring tears to my eyes. I haven't cried in years even after very sad events had happened to me. But I often tear up due to beautiful music. Some music Genres I enjoy are R&B, Hiphop(only the beat not the lyric), Piano, Japanese Rock, Techno, Trance, Electronic, House, Dance, Eurobeat, and even Heavy Metal sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read many books at all. But I loved Ender's Game, and will always love that book.

I love music, it's my life. I love to sing and beatbox and make other weird noises from my mouth.

Movies, I watch movies when i'm very bored and mostly enjoy comedy and action, also stuff like Ocean series.
