I like to think of myself as a traveler with a penchant for lost and remote places. Have been to the Jungles of Kenya, the Gulags of Russia, Military Parades in Transnistria, the northern tip of North Korea, the hottest spot of the USA, the slums in Uganda.
Now I am exploring the European North West, visiting a friend on the Faeroe Islands first, and then surrounding Iceland by car.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here for to meet locals. I am not in desperate need for accommodation, instead, I am looking for some casual exchange, over coffee or beer granting me better insight into life, culture and language of Iceland!

Since I am traveling solo, I would be super happy to meet and talk to people along the way on this beautiful island!
