About Me

I have just finished my studies for bachelor in Finance from the University of New York, Tirana. I aspire in the future to become an investment banker or earn a CFA title.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason for being in couchsurfing is simple i wanna help people to make their trips less expensive. I like to think it this way: if i would have the opportunity to travel around the world, almost for free, thanks to people helping me, than absolutely i would love to be part of the circle on helping everyone and making their trips more enjoyable and less expensive.
In addition the experience that i get from a cross cultural experience is priceless.

Interests

I love music, sports and movies. I started a school for DJing & postproduction because i wanted to become the next Tiësto but... wasn't as easy as i thought 😢, especially when i had to attend both university courses in Finance and my classes on DJing. I have played various sports like soccer, basketball, rugby etc. Also, I have practiced for 3 consecutive years kickboxing, and i have a lot of information on MMA. If any of you studs has some interest on this area that would be awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

Trance, Classic, 80s, 90s & 2000s hits, and every other song from a genre that not necessarily i regularly listen but is beautiful 👌

Honestly, i haven't read many literature books but the ones that have moved me and i would recommend to others are the following (associated with my reasons):
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho, ( it taught me to never give up on your dreams, it's not bad to dream as long you fight for them passionately and work on them, also i can't explain why but whenever i think about the main character, Santiago, i immediately fall in this profound and inspiring mood about the future)
Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy, (it's a classic, a must and one of the books that everyone should read before dying. If you want another reason, before getting pushed to read it, just check out its rating)
White Fang - Jack London ( this book taught me about bravery and stubbornness, on my beliefs, in ways that no one has ever shown me)
Around the World in Eighty Days - Jules Verne, ( I read this book after watching the movie with Jackie Chan, and the image of Jackie as Jean Passepartout would always show up in my mind while i was creating visually the stories, reading through the pages. This made my experience from reading it funny, interesting, and so damn enjoyable)

Other books i've read and loved them (This way we can have smth to talk about if we both have read them):
• The Death of an Ancient King - Laurent Gaudé
• The Scortas' Sun - Laurent Gaude
• Pollyana - Eleanor H. Porter
• The Cafe on the Edge of the World - John Strelecky
Etc...
