ABOUT ME

Happy go lucky person who's always willing to try new things and make more friends. I want to travel. I want to dream. I want to say I have traveled to the ends of the world and seen the greatest sights this world has to offer. To embrace in the universalism of good humanity.

PHILOSOPHY

When travelling around, I only have two things I like to share.

1. Spend money on experiences not objects.
2. Always pack half the items and bring twice the amount of money of what you think you need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I can't host total strangers due to my parents. I can however host people I have met before. Therefore I go for CS meetups both local and overseas. That way if my overseas friends ever come to Singapore for a visit I can offer them a place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Relatively new to the Couchsurfing scene so I have only been to local events so far. Hopefully it will expand beyond Singapore's horizons soon enough!

Interests

Reading, Drawing, Watching movies, Listening to music. I like assembling stuff like gunpla and papercraft at times. My favourite sport is Tennis, mainly because its one of the sports I can play with some proficiency.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I listen to anything and everything! It all goes according to the mood and time. My ideal world would be a giant musical.

For books I read mostly english books but with a greater slant to fantasy/sci-fi genre. That being said, I highly recommend the Time Traveller's Wife to anyone who hasnt read it yet. The movie doesnt do it justice.

For movies, Im just your average couch potatoe. I dont think so deeply when watching shows but I throughly enjoyed Shutter Island. Wasnt as complicated as Inception but still had a deep enough plot for me to appreciate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things I done,
Spent 3 days in winter wonderland Kiruna where the sun sets at 4 pm, looking for the Northern lights.
Dog sled beneath a starry sky watching my breath mist in the ice cold night.
Diving in Jeju Island
Climbing up and staying overnight near the peak of Seoraksan.
Bohryeong Mud Festival
Crashing at jimjibangs overnight
Go for a temple stay
Sunrise Festival in Korea
Ice Fishing in Jinbu

Things Im going to do
Farm stay hopefully
Stay in a village

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, Chinese, Singlish and abit of Korean and Japanese I guess? Although my japanese and korean is really basic.
Im not great at tennis but I welcome anyone to pm me if they want to try it out without fear of being embarrassed by others.
