I have the chance to visit Bangkok quite frequently, about once or twice a month depending on work schedule. Initially I only stayed at hotels and guest houses with private rooms, but as the months passed I wanted to explore other options as it's starting to put a strain on my expenses. Now I usually look at backpacker's hostels with shared dorms, and planning to start here as well to meet new people and open up to others.
