About Me

As a complete life-suprise I never saw coming, i'm an English teacher nowadays.

Lots of info also in my references! I could say whatever about myself but we all know there's more reliable info in what others have to say!

But don't worry... by the end of this profile you will realize i have a lot to say myself lol.

I have a entrepreneurial spirit, but im also a "party animal". So work hard, play hard.

For me entrepreneurship is identifying and realizing opportunities and providing solutions. Making things better. I don't like negativity or to complain, I prefer just finding solutions. Some times its hard, but a solution can always be found.

For the party animal part, i worked 2 summers in Amsterdam as a guide on the ultimate party pub crawl, showing tourists the best parties 6 nights a week :) I like tourism, tourists, travelling etc, brings so much color to life!
I really like to dance.

Im finnish-american-italian. Lived in the USA for 10 years, Finland for 15 years, some time in Amsterdam and some time in Spain!

I've lived in the Canary Islands, Granada and started living in Malaga 2021

I'm a former navy cook so I cook! And if you've seen Steven Seagulls "Under Siege" movie you know a navy cook can pretty much do anything.

PHILOSOPHY
"Whatever you are searching for in life, is also searching for you"

"If everything seem under control, you're not going fast enough."

"I don't know the meaning of life but I do know that the meaning of life is not to be depressed"

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"

"Work smarter, not harder"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2018 update: hosted more than 200+ people

On the flip side I only managed to get 1 couch out of 100 requests in Spain or Chicago - which kind of sucks. People need to host more! and guests need to be nicer to hosts, because YOU might get free place to stay but when I travel I have to pay because I don't get a host because im a guy, and its VERY hard for guys to find a host even if you have 100 positive references! And its funny how "easy" and "nice" it is for people to surf but then they have 1000 excuse not to host.

I have couchsurfed and traveled a lot in my past. Joined here 23.12.2009
Only really started using this summer 2014

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well i guess you could say i randomly couchsurfed on a part native Americans boat in Key West, Florida. Road tripped there with some French friends. We were sitting in a park next to a dock 3-4am with a bottle of Vodka. This random guy came talking to us. Noticed the bottle of vodka, and invited us on to his boat. We crashed there for a nite. Was an awesome experience.

Most of my other couchsurfing experiences are at friends places in Finland...
