ABOUT ME

i'm a musician, trainer, social educator and animator in work and in life. still i prefer to work with children then adults...more fun and honest...
in early life (really seems like a different life) i was studying computers in University until i found who i was or meant to be. And music should be my driver for this ride...

i started to work with a local youth association and some time later with a international Youth Organization. First as a participant, i had contact with non-formal education which i then developed as a trainer.

i was very clear with what i needed to learn and i knew where to get it. So i did it. I did workshop in areas like clown, Traditional Instruments construction, theater and movement, conflict resolution, intercultural-learning, project management.

In all this time i also learn how to play many traditional instruments and study the music from Africa, Europe, South America and most recently the Arabe and Mediterranean.

At the present i'm working on a Project with the Ministery of education with a Environment Education Program by Arts that brings artistic expression to schools as a way of motivating the learning. It involves 4 different schools and hundreds of children.

PHILOSOPHY

Experiencing life and Sharing with others. i always try to approach life as a learning experience specially in bad moments. But i keep smiling to life as it comes... beautiful!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By gathering contatcs of people with same interest in the near future i pretend to live in the country side of South Portugal. This place can be a future eco-village but for now i'm living in the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have a friend that had an amazing experience by giving his couch to a lot of people. then i start to meet some of them.
Then, one day i met this person that just left my friend's couch and i offer to be hoster for 4 days without being a member of couch-surfing. She explain me better the couch-surfing system and i just loved the idea!
And she managed to motivate me to be part of it!
