About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go. Be. Do.

ABOUT ME

I am always looking to explore, live and travel all over. Love to camp, hike, spend time outside, meet new people and check out new music and movies. I love wine and trying new things. Always up for anything.

It's so hard to talk about yourself...I like to consider myself adventurous. I love my family and friends, gardening, talking about outdoor gear. One day I would like to have chickens...

I'm currently studying at Capilano University in the Arts and Entertainment Management program. I'm doing a practicum (or internship) right now and work for a booking agent.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep the Spirit.

If words can describe where you are, keep going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We really try to spend time with our surfers if we can, this is not just a couch to sleep on. Also, we generally work during the week so weekends are better. Shoot us an email and see if we are free! I am looking forward to repaying some of the kindness I received while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been surfing in New Zealand, Germany and Turkey and its been wonderful. I love meeting new people and sharing food, ideas and good times. CouchSurfing is unreal. I'm hoping to do some more of it in the future!

I believe that people can have the greatest impact on your life in the smallest ways. I love sharing stories and experiences with people from other cultures and making new stories along the way.

Interests

Frolicking, canoeing, camping, hiking, frisbee, music, movies and life.

I love to make wine and cook food. I also enjoy going to local music shows and rolling around in the snow (when tis the season). I'm always up for trying new things. We just moved to Vancouver so I'm always looking for new places to try or to take people to place I know are great.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really open in this department. I have been listening to a lot of bluegrass lately but I really listen to anything that I'm in the mood for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt. Luxmore in New Zealand on the Kepler track. Theres nothing like a mountain to show a prairie kid whats what.

There will always be time to fill in this box.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and learning new things about food and wine. I'm learning the Ukulele and could always talk about music forever. I'm also interested in getting into rock climbing! Perhaps when you get here I already will have...
