I love to travel and meet people. I've been all over the U.S., Baja Mexico, Georgian Bay Canada, France and Italy multiple times, Spain, Iceland, South Africa, the Bahamas many times, and recently Dubai.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy digging in deep when I travel and have stayed in people's homes. I'd like to return the hospitality. I love travel and I love people!

Interests

I'm a fairly adventurous diner and have eaten some weird foods as well as dined in some of the best restaurants in the world. I enjoy deep discussion and like nature. I hike, ride horses and motorcycles. At home I grow herbs in my little garden to put in the food I cook. Touring museums and other significant cultural sites is usually on my itinerary.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Jazz, Rock (many genres), Blues, Opera and Classical. Movies? Fantasy and Adventure, some Action, not too into chick flicks, historical. I don't read much fiction... prefer informational type books.

Teach, Learn, Share

A Course in Miracles is an ongoing learning/teaching thing for me. I enjoy trying to speak French and Italian. I took a beginner class in Spanish too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, travel stories, restaurant recommendations, deep conversation and mind expansion. I'm a good listener most of the time and sometimes funny as hell. Depends on what's going on. Share a bottle of wine and get silly or pour out your heart over a cup of tea.
