I'm Teresa, I'm an American EFL Teacher. I've been living in Turkey since September and I absolutely love it. Before that, I volunteered in Azerbaijan for two years. I've also lived in the UK, but my home will always be Chicago, IL.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing in several different countries with friends for a few years now, and I've really loved all my experiences. I decided it was finally time to make a profile of my own, so here I am. I'm happy to host, and I'd also be open to meeting up with any fun English speakers here in Samsun.

Interests

My biggest interest right now is learning the Turkish language and culture. In general, I love to talk about history and politics. I'm always reading or writing something.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the classics. Films from the thirties and forties, music from the sixties and seventies, and the kinds of books that end up on "most influential" reading lists. But I also like science-fiction and indie rock.
