About Me

I'm living in Bordeaux, since September, I'm working as a Portuguese teacher in the university. I live with my boyfriend in a flat in Bordeaux and I've a couch that can be transformed into a single bed and a matress in the living room, so i can host two travellerers.
Before coming to France, I lived in Portugal (where I was born), Italy and Romania.
I'm an open person, who likes to meet new people, speak and share experiences!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was hosted many times before and so far I've only had good experiences! I love to travel (preferably in a cheap manner) and meet new people! Now that I have a flat of my own, I finally have the chance to give a little back to the couchsurfing community!
I also plan to continue travelling, as soon as I can!

Interests

I like to travel, to read, to watch movies and tv shows, to dance, to go out with friends, to listen to music, to learn new languages, to volunteer...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like indie rock and Brazilian music, novels and any kind of movie, except for science fiction and horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a European Voluntary Service, in Arad, Romania. This was an incredible opportunity to meet and live with an amazing group of people, from over 30 different nationalities! It was also a great period to find out of happy you can be without money, knowing that you can make even a small difference in someone else's life!
It also opened the possibility to travel almost for free, hitch hiking and couchsurfing along the way!

Teach, Learn, Share

I always like to learn more about other people's cultures, habits and ways of living, I'm also interested in learning different languages and being exposes to music, books, movies, food and traditions from other countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share facts about Portuguese culture and a little about the other countries where I lived before. I'm not a very good cook, but I can prepare some traditional Portuguese food, introduce the hosts to Portuguese music and literature.
My boyfriend is french so he can do the same for french culture! And he can make you quiche!
