About Me

Hi there :)
I'm Teresa, a 23 old half german half peruvian girl. I was born in Frankfurt, and moved to Argentina when I was 9. I came back 8 years later after finishing high school and did an apprenticeship in tourism for 2,5 years. Now I'm studying Intercultural Economics in Passau, near Munich. I'm a very cheerful, easy going and active person who loves to discover new places and get to know new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think one can only learn a lot from the experience! Meeting other friendly people who either enjoy traveling as well or have fun by hosting travellers and giving them a small insight of their daily life is great! I'm looking forward to meeting you and getting to know as much as possible about the place you come from by being a pleasant guest!
Now that I am living at a shared flat I have the opportunity to host as well, so I'm really looking forward to that.

Interests

I enjoy doing sports such as tennis or going for a run! But I also love to hang out on the couch with a good book or watching a thrilling movie! I love to sing and playing the guitar along to some easier songs ;)
I love cooking and trying out new recipes or also go out to eat and discover new dishes!
In my free time I love hanging out with my friends!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE going to concerts and listening to live music. I've been to so many concerts of different genres and loved all of them! My favorite band is Maroon 5!
I really like thrilling, gripping movies. And I'm also a serie-junkie loving Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Friends or HIMYM! I love to read a lot, different travel blogs but also different kind of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many things! I really enjoy traveling and I'm grateful for everything I lived until now!
The most amazing experience in my life was to live and grow up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I moved there with my family when I was 9 years old and returned to Germany with 18. It was a great time that marked my life, which I will never forget.
But I think my first trip traveling on my own with a backpack through Australia and some places in Asia is also really important to me and I realized it was the best decision I could have made. I met so many amazing people and had the time of my life in that beautiful country and even though I didn't visit as much as I would have liked in Asia I will definitely come back to see more. Australia has so much more to offer as well but I'm so happy I got to know all these stunning places.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the learning is automatically connected to this experience! By getting to know different people in different environments you can only learn from them! Whether it is an insider-tip for the place you're visiting, storys from own experiences or new words in a foreign language.. Everything counts! Of course I'll try to give back what I can as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well I enjoy cooking and could show you how to prepare some peruvian food which is really good! If you're interested in learning spanish or german, I could also teach you some things!!
