About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, to meet new people and have a great time

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly outgoing person who enjoys meeting people and making friends. I am new to couchsurfing but my one experience cs so far in Budapest was excellent. Our hosts Andres and Claudio were fantastic, very accomodating and generous with everything. We cooked a dinner party one night and it felt like we had been friends for a very long time. I thought cs would be a good experience but now am a firm believer it is the best way to travel as you have experiences and make friends that you never would if you were staying in a hostel or hotel. I am keen to meet more people and make new friends though cs. I look forward to being able to host in the not too distant future when I am home.

PHILOSOPHY

Umm not sure I have a personal philosophy as such but do believe that sharing is caring, maybe that is why I find cs so appealing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many types of music, depends on my mood!

I love reading and enjoy quite a variety of books. Recently I have read Amsterdam and On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan, Midnights Children by Salman Rushdie, Goulds Book of Fish by Richard Flanigan and White Teeth by Zadie Smith.

I also enjoy a variety of films. I rewatched Amelie and Goodbye Lenin before setting off to Europe! I also like to indulge in the occassional romantic comedy and action movie.
