ABOUT ME

I'm an lively, easy going person. I like just to go out the door without having much of a plan and see where life takes me. The task I have set for myself is to learn as much as possible about as many things as possible; about other cultures and customs, about how other people think and live, about myself and life itself. I'm interested in a lot of things and like to listen to the stories others have to tell. It is especially nice to see and learn how other people cook and to share my knowledge with them, too.

兴趣

I love being outdoors - no matter if working, hiking, cycling, swimming, diving or just reading a nice book in a lovely place (reading is one of my most favourite things to do). I used to play the piano but as I don't own one I had to stop - for now. I also like to dance, especially ballroom dancing. Although I'm not really a person for partying all the time I still enjoy a nice party.

Watching the sunrise on Mt. Ramelau in East-Timor.
Camping all alone right at the edge of a virgin forest in New Zealand - stars blinking in the sky, birds singing in the morning, the atmosphere of the forest: just amazing.
Diving in Komodo, Indonesia...amazing aquatic life and scary currents.
Teaching English in Myanmar...what an experience!
