About Me

CURRENT MISSION

BE SOFT. DO NOT LET THE WORLD MAKE YOU HARD. DO NOT LET THE PAIN MAKE YOU HATE. DO NOT LET THE BITTERNESS STEAL YOU SWEETNESS. TAKE PRIDE THAT EVEN THOUGH THE REST OF THE WORLD MAY DISAGREE, YOU STILL BELIEVE IT TO BE A BEAUTIFUL PLACE.

PHILOSOPHY

Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth.
-Mark Twain-

Interests

Above all, I am interested in enjoying life with all its aspects. In its quiet and loud moments. Whether it is meeting inspiring people, dancing all night through until the sun rises, having a good meal and trying out new dishes, talking for hours and hours about nothing and everything with good friends or complete foreigners... Life is beautiful!

My two big passions are photography and cooking. I love to take pictures and to visit exhibitions. And I adore everything connected to food and enjoying. I was raised in a family where it is all about cooking and eating. What a nice experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore movies. I worked in a little cinema for about two years. During that time, I tried to watch almost each film I could grab after finishing my work shift. It was a fantastic time - enjoying good films all night/morning long in a cinema for your own together with your friends and colleagues.

Here are my all-time-music-classics:
The Whitest Boy Alive - Burning
Regina Spektor - Fidelity
Bloc Party - Helicopter
Beirut - Postcards from Italy
Everything from Mumford and Sons
You Say Party We Say Die - Monster
We were promised Jetpacks - Quiet little voices

Of course I also enjoy reading. At the moment it is all about fairy tales "for grown-ups". For example "Harun and the sea of the stories" by Salman Rushdie or "Momo" by Michael Ende.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are many things I would love to learn - I am open for each new experience. Above all, of course, learning to cook a new dish or trying some good wine/tea/coffee means paradise to me.;)

And I would like to share anything I know with you, If you are eager to do so. My experience, stories, laughter and a good time.
