About Me

Work in progress, i haven't updated my profile in 10 years.

CURRENT MISSION

studying engineering and looking forward to the next adventure

ABOUT ME

I am a university student, majoring in engineering.
I'm not a loud person, very relaxed most of the time. I dislike hectic paces, but always walk fast as a habit.
I always stick to rules, really waited until my 18th birthday to register here on couchsurfing.
Describing myself I would say I am a nice and patient person (I'm rather subjective though, you can find out after meeting me)

PHILOSOPHY

There are only few things that you can't laugh about.

If you take too much home with you, you won't see the new.

After plan B there is still C, D, E... so relax.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting: I can't really host right now, because I am traveling, but I plan on hosting fellow surfers as soon as I move into my own apartment.

Surfing: I'm full of couriosity and eager to get to know new things, places and persons.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a few couches and it was the best :) I had so much fun and it was so much more comfortable and interesting than any hostel. All the people I have met through surfing, meetings or messaged with were nice and fun persons, though sometimes weird :) but always friendly.

Interests

I love music, it moves me more than pictures and words.
I like doing sports, not so much watching it. I'm afraid of football (always get hit by those balls), but I like basketball, badminton and maaaaany others.
Travelling (how surprising), meeting new people (also very surprising), seeing new cities (read the one from before). I also love food and trying new food (Japan was heaven for me). I wouldn't say I'm great cook, but I usually try my best for hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Changes rapidly, but I like british humour in books (original language)and action-B-movies.
One book I take with me on my travels: "The clumsiest people in Europe or Mrs. Mortimers bad tempered guide to the victorian world" it is simply hilarious.
Currently "Sherlock" (BBC-series) is my favorite, "How to not live your life" is very close to favorite (thank you Lorenzo, for introducing that series).
My favorite directors: Quentin Tarantino, Guy Ritchie, Tim Burton and probalby a lot more whose names I couldn't remember.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The CS-event in Brussels, too much to explain, but everyone who was there (at Relindes place) understands.

Sleeping in a tent on the terrace on a roof in Valencia near the sea. It was nice, even though at 7:30 I got woken up by spanish party-music.

When I was doing an easter-fire with two friends, many people stopped by to ask if they could sit at our fire, because it was so cold and there weren't many fires. The groups kept on changing throughout the night and the range of people was really diverse. We got food and firewood from our "guests" and that kept the fire for more hours than we could have done alone. It was really a lot of fun :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the piano, (though I don't practice much) I can teach and play a little bit.
Right now I'm eager to learn anything.
Do you have anything to teach?
